Estrellas! Catch the Stars
The blouse was easy to create. As for the pants, I would rather make an elastic casing around the waist instead of separating the front and back waistbands!

Sponge Bob Chic!
I just finished a new Sponge Bob jumper and flouncy pants for Heather!

This came from a Simplicity pattern:

Prior to cutting the fabric, I quickly glanced at the instructions for the pants and noted that the directions to apply the flounce for the pants would refer me to the ruffles for the skirt. So, without giving much thought, I cut two ruffle pieces and asked myself as I gathered each ruffle, "maybe they intended the pants to flare out quite a bit?"
Goofy me! I was supposed to use the pattern piece labeled flounce for the bottom of each pant leg, but instead used the ruffle piece (cut two on fabric) that was intended for the bottom of the skirt (view D)! The two ruffle pieces were supposed to be sewn together, gathered at the top, and attached to the bottom of the skirt. I noticed this after I already had made the pants and somehow found the flounce piece after I re-organized all of the pieces into mini paper pouches ("dress", "jacket/vest", "pants").
I also recently made a vest for Heather from the same pattern:
