Last month, we visited the San Diego Wild Animal Park in Escondido. Given a few hours of time, it felt like we took an extensive tour of the park, omitting a few of the trails which we plan to visit in the nearby future. We took the tram safari tour, saw "The Frequent Flyers" show (not as elaborate as the bird show in the S.D. Zoo), and walked along familiar and not-so familiar trails.

Ducks gathered around a tree. A duck feeding station is nearby. Photo taken by Heather.
We had lunch, here with a view.

Earlier and later during our little journey, we encountered new feathered friends. It was hilarious to see the ducks quickly waddle their way to the visitors who purchased some feed. The adult ducks became aggressive to the point that the ducklings were not able to receive some goodies. Heather was still scared for the ducks to feed from the palm of her hand.
